Acne Treatments

Microabrasion

Microabrasion is an exfoliation process that gently removes the outer layer of your skin, where the dull, dead skin cells lie. The treatment uses tiny crystals that break up these cells to reveal the smoother, softer skin underneath. The crystals are gently worked into your skin by a handheld device

Acne Peels

Pimples are of cause of great distress. They sometimes leave scars which are troublesome throughout life. The treatment uses Laser light beam to focus on the overactive sebaceous glands. Along with this Alpha hydroxyl peels are used to cause exfoliation of the dead superficial epidermal cells. The procedure involves a combination of the above two treatments. It takes about 30 minutes. A sunscreen is recommended after the treatment. Maintenance sessions may be required in severe cases

Microneedling Rf

The micro needling RF (Radio Frequency) involves penetration of microneedles into the skin to deliver radiofrequency pulse into the targeted skin. This results in the body’s own production of elastin and collagen fibres, making skin firmer and healthier. It is very safe and useful procedure. Radiofrequency micro needling is a cosmetic procedure. It uses tiny needles and radiofrequency waves to rejuvenate facial skin.

Dermaroller

Treating acne scars, their pits and anti-aging. Hundreds of micro needles that are present on the surface of the roller are used to stimulate the surface of the skin in this treatment. The roller is moved up and down on all parts of the skin on the face or the affected area. The needles result in formation of many tiny injuries on the skin. In order to heal the injuries, the skin starts producing excess collagen. So in a way, it is a form of artificially boosting the collagen production in the skin. As a result of the excess collagen, the skin automatically looks plumped up in that area. This helps in erasing fine lines and filling up scars. The poking action from the needle also improves the blood circulation in the skin. It makes the skin glow. The treatment also opens up the pores of the skin to make it more receptive to any product that you apply on it. Frequency of usage can be once or twice in a week, not more, since the skin needs some gap to heal.
